Welcome to this guided visualisation for inner strength and resilience. Please note most of this meditation comes from a chapter in the book Wherever You Go, there You Are: Mindfulness Meditation for Everyday Life by Jon Kabat-Zinn Published in 2004, ISBN: 9780749925482. I have added and amended aspects of this, but the idea and much of the content can be found in his book. This exercise will last 20 minutes.

Taking time out of your day to relax, to meditate helps your body to get used to a calm, rested way of being.When you feel relaxed your breath will deepen, your brain and body aligns… you become more aware, and more in control of your feelings

This is an important way you can feed yourself what you need to be calmer, more confident and more in control
